AV Theater
Situated on the second
floor of the main building is an AV theatre that can seat 69 people.
Documentaries are screened at different times of the day showing
various aspects of the Japanese Occupation. Among them are documentaries
showing the Malay regiment through its formation and expansion during
the 1930s as well as interviews with family members of the soldiers
of this regiment who fought in the Battle of Bukit Panjang.

These documentaries
provide visitors with a detailed and in-depth look at the Japanese
Occupation as well as the events that occurred prior to it. The
interviews included in the documentaries allow visitors to better
understand the wide range of emotions experienced by the people
then. The visual experience in the AV theatre will also change visitors'
outlook on these events. No longer will they be purely seen as historical
events as visitors understand the more personal side of them through
the documentaries.
